Sony Ericsson K700i WAP confusion

I have a new Sony Ericsson K700i, and want to download some games. I downloaded the WAP facility available from www.estato.com, but now I think my phone was already WAP enabled, and I am concerned I have ruined the settings. Please can you explain how I can uninstall, and also let me know how expensive it is to use WAP. (My operator is O2 and they do not answer the phone). Thanks.

Take the phone to your nearest O2 branch and they will sort it for you free of charge.

Also regarding wap charges, i would imagine that each network charges at different rates, but if you say it is a brand new phone it should have GPRS capabilities, which is far cheaper to browse and also much faster than a WAP connection.

Hope this helps.

Yeah, your phone should automatically come wap enabled, and also GPRS enabled. If you dont know, GPRS is an updated colour faster version of WAP, and is like surfing the web. The question is, did you use the sim card provided with the phone, or a sim-card you previously owned? If you are using an older sim, you will need to phone o2 to update your wap/gprs settings. To do this I suggest ringing them on 08705678678 from a landline, as they may ask you to check some stuff on your mobile handset.
