Options for spaying my year-old female dog
I plan to have my dog spayed and wondered if there were options for how this can be done?
I had my last bitch spayed approx 14 years ago and she ended up with quite a long incision mark as well as urinary incompetence for the rest of her days. I know that the urinary problem can be more likely to happen to larger dogs (she was huge and my current dog is much smaller) but the scar and the surgery seems quite drastic.
Has this surgery changed much in the last number of years and/or is there a keyhole surgery option?
Thanks
