semi synthetic oils
Hi
Is there ANY difference between oils sold for use with cars or motorcycles - in the semi synthetic range 10/40w
or is it just a ploy to make you pay more for motorcycle oil & some cases supply it in a 4 litre instead of 5 litre
20 for car (or halfords offer 15.99) 5 ltr or 21.99 for bike 5 ltr
as you could pay nearly 30 for 4 litres for bike use
Thanks

there are no additives in car oil that will cause a motorcycle wet clutch to slip. a slipping clutch problem will only occur if different grades of oil are mixed...even then clutch slip is very rare!
