Re-opening an e-mail account

Is it possible to re-open a Yahoo Mail account that I voluntarily closed some time ago?  I want to use the same username but Yahoo won`t let me.

Very very doubtful.  If you can't re-register, I suspect someone else has it now.

If you have a .co.uk one, see if the .com one is available. I think the sign up process allows this, but if it doesn't then state that you live in the United States and use a USA zip code such as 10007.
