Microsoft ODBC Administrator

Can anyone tell me what this is for. It has appeared on my laptop. Someone who uses this laptop managed to find my confidential email address on here - is this how they did it ? Is it possible to find an email address ? If so, is there anyhting I can do to prevent it ? (I have to share the laptop)

anyone with an administrator profile can access anyone's details so even a password won't help.

the only solution is to change their profile to user or super user - and then password protect your administrator account

How do I change their profile - and where do I find it ? Where is my administrtor account ? You have me worried now !

odbc stands for Open Data Base Connectivity,
its used to access a wide range of databases or data sources. for apps that run on your pc.,

ie: to connect an access Db to sql server.

i dont see how this has anything to do with profile changes???????
