time limit to attend magistrates court when ill - abh charge
Hi,
I have recently been charged with ABH and due to attend court. Since the charge I have suffered a heart attack and feel I am to unwell to attend.
I have never been in trouble before and have no criminal record. I was provoked into the action and admit that I did hit the person but they suffered just a bloody nose. Nothing broken and no serious injury
Could anyone tell me what I should do and is there a time limit for the magistrates court to deal with this case. I obviously do not know how long I am written off work and how long before the doctors give me a clean bill of health to attend a court hearing.
Thanks,
