Anyone in a good place ATM?

I am -dont know why but I feel really good.

My kids are happy -J is off to T in the Park and R has just had a really good bonus and payrise at his work.

J has jusy got a permanent job with the Norwich Union -wa haaay -and her flat-which she bought is looking stunning after all the months of really hard work.

She is extremely happy and so is R.

Plus they sent me the biggest bouquet of flowers last week just cos- as they said- they loved me -and its starting to take over as the liles eclipse the dozen red roses - hey life in the past year hasnt been our best but we are all pulling together staying tight and it just shows that if you have a tight family and love each other you can overcome the worst hurdles !!

Are any of you in a good place -especially when you didnt expect to be and why??

Awww Dris, I'm chuffed for you hun! That's really good news for your kids, and I'm sure they know how much you've been doing for them. My mum called tonight, haven't seen her in almost a year now...:O(
She's been helping me soooooo much, she'll never know how mush I love her! I'm one of those persons who find it hard to express feelings like these, but I hope she knows. xxxx

aww bless ya all -tell ya its not until the chips are down -as you know they have been for us -that you appreciate everything.

I phone my Mum and Dad every day -theyre not gonna be here for ever just as R and J discovered at such a tender age -I phone J everyday and R at least 3 or 4 times a day but he is his own man and he is a buy Exec !!

I am happy cos at long last they have settled and are happy -I would lay myself down for them and at times I have been so mentally and physically drained you wouldnt believe but they are good and now so am I. (Hey and thats dealing with the diddyman as well -yip I am in a good place)

We still have the last anniversary to go but now the court case is over- that will be poignant -but not devastating -he didnt leave us through his own stupidity but someone elses - we knew he wouldnt do that to us and he has been vindicated officially now.

That apart -life goes on and its good -hard work but satisfying for me as a mum that I have managed to focus our children and they havent given up -braw bairns -proud as punch !!!!
