Finding menu bar

A friend was using my PC when I was away and now the screen goes straight to Google when I log on (I use IE). How can I get my menu bar with favorites, etc back?

right click on area at top of ie7 then click view then menu bar hey presto it returns

change your home page to whatever tools then internet options then home page
