maybe they are not sure you're serious
the first couple times.
always did in mine wizard,
I dunno but i have asked three times for the dishes to be done and they are still there, this is my husband , but he should be a kid!
Once to register you have spoken...

Once to grunt unintelligibly at your request...

And once more to ask what you said again...

:o)
its because he doesnt want to do it, I bet if you asked him to go out and play you would only have to ask him once.
That's the thing with kids, theyr not stupid, they know just how far you will go before taking action,
so the best policy is to take action straight away,
you should not have to tell them anything twice.
Maybe his brain is fitted with a triple-by-pass.
its in a males genes, any woman would tell you that when she's not in the mood and the man wants a piece she'll have to tell him NO! 3 times...........at least!
It is a ploy, they make out they cannot hear you and hope you give up and do whatever it is that needs doing, yourself!!!!

No thats your heart rovi
