can i stop maintenance to my x wife if her &partner buy a house together?

Is the maintenance payable solely to your ex-wife or to your children (if any) ? If it is payable in respect of your children then, yes, you will need to continue to pay until a court determines otherwise. If the maintenance is payable solely to your ex-wife (and for some odd reason I cannot believe this to be the case) then apply to the court for the order to be rescinded but don't stop payments of your own accord. It may seem troublesome for you to go back and forth to court but at the end of the day you need to be right.

do you mean child maintanance? if you do why would you want to stop this, it dont matter who she is living with the child(ren) are still yours and you should want to contribute
