Tesco Value Still Water

Is this just tap water? It says in the lable it is "table water". It's 17p for 2 litres. If it is tap water, so you think it's filtered?

As an example, here in the U.S., true Spring Water can only be labeled as such. Ttreated or even distilled water must say so somewhere on the label but cannot contain the words natural or naturally derived water...
My theory is that table water is just tap water that has been put through a filter like the ones that can be fitted under the sink. Also probably the same as a Brita filter.
If it were spring water it would be labelled as such to market it, so I reckon it's tap water. Probably from the outside tap behind Tesco...
The Lidl water costs 39p for 2 litres and is spring water. Probably got a terrible carbon footprint but as it comes from somewhere on mainland europe. Nice but.
aldis 2 ltre silver spring sparkling water ''bottled at sources in folkestone in the north downs of kent'' for 25p is really lovely. i prefer it to the dearer bottled water in shops.
Dell boy sells it cheaper. Peckham Springs.
lol, i do have a bottle of that peckham spring water!

i went to see that particular show filmed at the studios in london with friends and a few of us were given a bottle of the water afterwards to take home.
