copying pictures from pc to cd

not very good with computers!!
Im trying to copy photos from my pc onto a cd,been doing this last few years without any problem.But now when i put a cd into the drive theres not even a window that appears asking me what action i want to take.When i click on copy files,i scroll down to list and click on cd,but message appears..D:/ is not accessible incorrect function.

Put a music cd in your pc - does it play okay?

just tried a couple of cds they played no problem.one was a cd that someone made up for me.they played fine

Have you tried a different blank cd to burn to?

Is the cd the correct format?

have couple of different brand of cds,these are ones have copied pictures onto before.bought some more cds last week but still no joy. tried putting a cd in that had pictures on and i was able to view them ok.

Most of computer CDs use CD-R instead of CD+R. You might need to check whether CD you are using -R or not.
