How do i permanently add a "history" button to the top toolbar in the IE version that comes with Vista?
I can access history temporarily via "tools" and "toolbars", but I can't figure out a way to put a button on the IE toolbar to make access easier
I assume its the same method if i wanted to add "favourites" to the toolbar too?
This was simple enough to do in IE6!

Many Thanks.

You can lock the history column on the left by pressing the green arow that is in the top right of the history column.

To remove it you click on the X (cross) in the top right.
You can add a permanent "menu" to the top of IE7 by selecting the Tools the menu on he right, then select "Menu Bar"

From this menu you can select "View" then "Explorer Bar" then "History".

At any point you can display your History by selecting Ctrl then Shift then H
