i use daily disposable lenses and notice that i have quite a lot left in the box i am using and they expire on April 2005.  will it be safe to use them after that date?

Are these lenses that you've recently been provided with? Most daily disposable lenses have a shelf life of 3 years so if these are lenses you've recently been sent, I'd take them back to your optician and ask for replacements. Chances are, if the lenses are still properly sealed in the blister packs they will be ok to use after April 2005 but you might not want to take the risk.
They will be ok for a while after that but not too long.  They are given an earlier date than realistic, they wont go off at midnight on the last day of april
