I need to get out and paint the walls, etc. around the front of my house...........the sky is what could be called 'lowering' although with occasional patches of bright sunlight.

Is there anyone in reasonably close proximity to Blackpool who is getting rained on ?

Because, I've put this job off for quite a while and Mrs M is going to need a good excuse from me.............

I'm sure that she'll accept the fact that I have made investigations on AB as evidence of my thwarted willingness to paint the bloomin' things should I be unable to proceed.

Thanks

It's lovely in Croydon, get out there and get on with it.
About 20mls east and it went dark and grey for a while about 1hr ago (now 5pm) but didn't stop me hanging out the washing, lovely sunshine now so hope you've got it done.
I'm about 12 miles south of Blackpool and it has gone sunny here now,it did look like it would chuck it down at around 3 but soon cleared.

Thankyou for your replies...........

I started to wonder whether the time spent at the 'puter fretting over what may happen weatherwise, I'd be better employed, in Whiffey's words, getting out there and getting on with it.

It is done ! Mrs M was impressed by my industry when she returned home from work..................hopefully, that means I shall have something else less solitary than pratting about on AB to keep me entertained at bedtime..............:o)
