would you prefer to be rich and have all the material things in life like holidays, cars, big house servants etc etc...
or
be poor and just about scrapping enough money 2getha to survive but have loads of people around you whom you loved and you were loved in return

Definately be poor with my family intact, no question of it at all.Monet at the end of the day is just rubbish, it buys you things which can salve unhappiness to some degree, but love is something priceless that if it's given to you should command your senses to want little else.

Hi oldgrape. If it's a choice between either, or, then obviously I think most people'd rather be poor and have their loved ones and friends around them. No money in the world'd come first before my children and family. Having said that, it's a hypothetical question, because I don't think any of us'd choose to live hand to mouth, and rich people have families and friends who love them as well.

the most important thing in life for us is we have each other struggled in our early days but now we have enough to live on we wouldnt change a thing in life married now for 55 years and still going strong

but if i was with a partner whos poor, but honest caring and makes me reaallllly happy then i would choose poor. :)

but if a partner was loaded and gives u secuirty, gives you EVERYTHING u want, but often cheats and lies then... i would choose poor.... or maybe clear out his bank account and do a runner lol he deserved it for treating me sh1t. lol

it would b nice just to b stable such as mortgage free home, car and a steady income and an OK career.

dont miind being poor aslong love is around me, supporting each other is a good thing. :) having lots of money doesnt bring u happiness but only brings u stress free, and stablebility
