Well Ryan air doesn't...lol
One day, I missed the airport coach in Paris at 7am, along with a south-african guy. We had to get the next bus, but missed our flight. Next one was at 8pm...
So, Mr SA went to buy some french wine in the next village near the airport. We went through 5 bottles in the course of the day! I was WELL drunk when I boarded that plane, let me tell ya. I suppose as long as you don't make it obvious, they won't say anything...lol

Dont think its wise to drink too much before a flight anymore as you might get put off LOL! I am sure she will be fine, after we take off....she's ok til the bloody captain starts giving it "we are now cruising at 40 thousand feet etc etc"
To calm a person down.....
12 massive brandies
11 ice cold vodkas
10 Southern comforts
9 pints of shandy
8 double whiskies
7 huge bacardis
6 trays of absinthe
5 special brews!
4 rum and cokes
3 French wines
2 lager tops
And a pint of something else before you flop!
