Tea bags to USA

Am I allowed to take teabags into USA when going on holiday?

If so is there a limit

Yes, we took them last year. I think it is only meat and some fruit they won't allow in.

I always take tea bags & travel kettle + powdered milk, put tea bags in plastic zip bag and put in your suitcase.
I also take cup-a-soup and a packet of digestive biscuits [their biscuits/cookies are mostly too sweet.] because my husband is a diabetic.

I always take a pack of 40 tea bags to the US plus dried skimmed milk which I put in a plastic ziplock bag & then put it inside my kettle. You need a dual voltage kettle as voltage is different in the US to Europe. Instead of using the plastic cups that come with the kettle, I've always managed to buy some cheap earthenware mugs within days of arrival(1$ each) and just leave them behind for the room maid when I leave. I also always buy some packs of shortbread biscuits at the airport.

I've taken tea bags to the US, but if you're going to the Orlando area of Florida you'll be able to buy them in Publix supermarkets anyway.

I usually take a big bag of 240 M&S One Cup bags. But then I drink a lot of tea and tend to stay for quite a long time!

Also, beware hotels where they do not have kettles (many), but expect you to heat water in a coffee maker, as it will never boil, and tea will come out 'stewed'.

I was in Publix in Orlando last week and PG tips bags were in the "Ethnic Foods" section and 40 bags were prices at $3.49.
