Defaced signs ........

When I was younger I used to go to work on a bus. There was a sign at the exit saying: "Have you left anything?" Someone added an 's' to the beginning, an 'r' to 'you' and blanked out 'any', so it read: SHave your left thing? Now I know it's bad to do this (and of course I would never, ever do such a thing) but it did make me laugh! At the supermarket today, there was a sign saying 'Don't forget your reusable bag'. I was tempted to put a comma after 'reusable', so it would read: Don't forget your reusable, bag. Hmmph ....... well alright then, don't laugh ....... see if I care!!!!!

A strange thing has happened to my post ......... I put returns between paragraphs and it was easy to read.

That's not how it has displayed though. It has been squashed up!! Wonder if it was because it was a bit long?

I remember when I was a kid, the doors on the tube trains had a sign that said, "do not obstruct the doors as this causes delays and can be dangerous".

almost all of them were altered to say, "obstruct the doors, cause delays and be dangerous"!

some of them are funny, some that made me laugh are.

In a village not far from us, the 'please drive carefully' sign was changed to 'please die'.

I remember seeing a sign on the train that said -

Do Not Put Your Feet On The Seats.

Some comedian scored out Feet and wrote Bum.

Well it was ruder than bum, starts with A, then R, then S and ends with E.
