This is a question for guys regarding what you wear on a first date.
Question is iof you were going on a first date , and youd pick out your ensemble for the evening .What underwear would you wear ?
Obviously clean.
But would it be boxers , y fronts , or would you wear a thong?
Or would you go alll for it and wear a nice poseing pouch?
Surely if nothing hap`pens noone would know?
But if the moment happens wouldnt it be nice to have made the effort ?

Logic, poor you, but you shouldn't be embarrassed about that. It's flattering if a guy gets a stiffy when he's with you. But it's nice if he accepts that he might have to save it for a later occasion.

But doesn't that make it even better? Knowing that if you do hit it off well enough that you finally do stuff together, how good it's going to be? Like, don't have anything within 10 ft that isn't washable, including the ceiling!

It depends on the venue of the first date, usually it would be out for a drink or meal. I would go for smart casual, nothing too revelaing as it gives out the wrong signals, (unless that's your aim, then they'd be the right signals)

If I was hoping things would progress beyond first base, then my underwear would probably be lacy, black with the bra matching the pants. No thong for me.

Sounds like you are expecting more than a quick drink 857Dnegel? Don't wear posing pouch or a thong, they are a major turn off for most women. If you have a good body, then jersey, snug fitting boxer shorts are nice, otherwise a plain, loose fitting cotton pair.
