You don't lose weight by using diuretics - you lose fluids which are replaced as soon as you have a drink.
Misuse of diuretics can cause:
Kidney damage
Cardiac Arrhythmias
Electrolyte imbalance
Heart palpitations
Dehydration
Fluid retention
Headaches
Potassium deficiency
Dizziness
And not aid your weight loss at all.

Diuretics are daft and dangerous as a weight loss resource. They make you lose water as opposed to fat. How is that going to help? You need to drink a fair auld bit of water anyway while you're on a weight loss regime. Otherwise you cant get rid of all the by products of the weight loss. Dont take diuretics, but do take vitamin and mineral supplements. Incidentally, take into account that some of these counteract each other. Dont take Vit C at the same time as Calcium tablets for example. Separate them by a couple of hours.
lol yes and i did, i was visiting home and look particularly fat that week, so stupidly i thought i'll just shift the extra pounds by taking some duiretics, anyway good idea, not!! i swelled up like ballon and and started retaining water! i had to sit with my feet up all day because they had swollen up so badly..and it was painful to walk. So no it didnt work, i ended up looking like a right Michelin man.
