Is there a quick way to go to any page of whatever topic you choose without clicking next 20 or previous.

Is that what you mean?
You can also bookmark specific questions or look in your profile to see questions that you've contributed to or recently browsed.

I'd have answered earlier but somehow I wasn't 100% what you meant by your quesion. I must have left my brain at the door on the way in.

I just wondered if i could go back to the first questions ever asked on the site and read the answers and reactions quicker than the obvious way.

When you've just posted a reply, if you click View, then Go To (in Internet Explorer) you can go straight back to the page you were on previously. The first couple of urls immediate above the one that you are on, in Go To, start with a http, ignore those and click on the one immediately above them.
