no such thing as a free internet, I suppose, just as there's no such thing as a free lunch: someone somewhere is paying. At the moment it's mostly advertisers. But as more and more people use adblockers the advertisers may come to feel it isn't worth it and go elsewhere (back to TV, newspapers etc). And eventually it may end up with the users paying. Which is not unreasonable, I suppose.
