insurance banding

can anyone tell me how to consider the insurance costs and how the banding works please? is it engine size? type of fuel, other considerations. What pushes up the costs? I have to change vehicle to another larger more suitable vehicle for disability reasons, ie camper or ambulance. (for private and not business use only) thanks for any good advice

That search facility will tell you the insurance group for any particular make and model of car, but you might prefer to have a complete list of all current models within any particular group. If so, see here:
