does anyone know where i can buy a charger for an old Black and Decker drill. It's a BD602. Failing that, could someone pass on the serial number on the charger?
Thanks, Alan

Why, I don't know, except that the company that markets the B & D drills aren't the same company that builds the charger (all Chinese, by the way, at least here in the U.S.) so, I suspect the chargers (and spare batteries as well) are built only for B & D and are not meant to be sold seperately... Best of luck though!
A google search indicates that its a 6 cell baterry pack, thats 7.2 volts,If you go to http://www.mtmc.co.uk/prodtype. They list a charger for 7.2 volt drills ref.Black & Decker 7.2 volt 3 hour Battery
CHARGER-418338-04 15.97 + vat = 18.76 .
As the previous answer ,may be more expensive than a new purchase.Alternatively,cpc.co.uk list a universal charger BT03388 which is ok for charging between 1 & 10 cells (it automatically adjusts to the number being charged) for 5.60 + VAT .This would probably fit the bill but would be an overnight charge period. BT03389 is similar with a faster charge time and is listed at 8.78 +vat. Finally there is a 3 hour unit BT01993 at 6.71 + vat,but this would require an adapter to connect to the drill charge socket
