Changing Address on Child Benefit?

Not sure this is an actual legal question but not really another section to post it in :)

I have just been told that it is an offence to not call the CB office and change my address when I move? Is it?

I never even thought to call them TBH as I thought they and the IR were all connected

What correspondence though? The only time they write to you is to tell you it's gone up and then when they are about to stop paying it because your child reaches aged 16
thats right wizard, they dont write to you for anything
By rights your supposed to tell them about any changes in your life.. Hope this helps :o)
