Midwifery again!

Can anybody tell me about the bursary that is paid for training as a midwife? Is it just one payment of �6000 (or however much) for the whole three years or is it that amount every year. Not that I'm greedy but have to think financially about it. This and if anybody has any info they wanna give me in general about this topic please feel free. I need all the info i can get.

When i was a student nurse i was paid a bursary monthly of about �400 so that equates to about �4800 per yr so i am guessing the �6k will be annually.
