downloading to my ipod

i have a large selection of dvds at home. is there anyway i can download these to my ipod. also what are the best sites to go for ipod movies downloads?

Do you mean you have a video ipod? Or you just want to use your ipod to transfer the files from one place to another?

Either way, you need to rip your dvd on to your computer.
Through itunes, stick it on your ipod as you would a song.
Unless you want to use your ipod as a memory stick and then just drag and drop the file onto the ipod folder in my computer.
