The "I didn't mean to hurt you, didn't want to make you cry" line comes from Jealous Guy by John Lennon and later, Roxy Music.

Yes same lyrics as Jealous Guy but in a totally different rhythm/melody/tempo. Not a sample as such and I'm sure the lyrical congruence is unintentional.
