Ok just noticed SKA is watching this tonight, so jealous I;m gonna wait till it dies down. But do you think that all the hype is just because the late Heath Ledger appears in it? I cant remember there being this much attention on the other batman films

It certainly has got a lot of hype surrounding it and it may or may not be due to the fact that Heath Ledger , Joker , died before its release , and the trouble that the actor who plays Batman is in.

I just popped in & saw this thinking it was a review but it isn't. I'm going to see this tomorow at the IMAX manchester & looking forward to the brill 3D effects you get in these cinemas... ooooo. But I love the original Bat Man more POW ZZAP BISHHH BOSH.. Just to make you even more jelous this morning I've been on woodland trails, diped my toe into the fresh reservoir water, ate a picknick on top of a huge hill, then rolled down it like a 5yr old child.. still full of grass and head still spinning.
I loved Batman Begins, I think it was dark and slightly menacing like Batman should be.
However, the touch of genius that Tim Burton adds to films is hard to beat and I think Batman returns is the most visually stunning and "comic book" like!
And Whiskey, the odder the better. In fact after watching American PSycho, I thought that it was actually worth getting chopped up in the morning with a chainsaw to get a bit of action the night before.
Anyways, possibly the best film stills ever known to man.
