signing in procedure

why do I now have to sign in just to browse posts and answers, I only needed to before if I wanted to contribute to a post or is there a gremlin in my PC thanks for any replies Tez

I think it's just a glitch with your PC. I've just logged out and had a mini-browse and all was well. Try the normal 'turn your PC off then on again' approach.

Or just tick the 'remember me box' & stay signed in , doesn't do any harm

Happened to me to Tez, i also keep loosing the 'Post and Aswer' option at the top of the thread and only get the 'Subscribe to question option. i had to re register to be able to use it again. Dunno if its my comp or some silly little eediot targetting me for their kicks.

I don't think it's a gremlin in your PC. I've had the same problem tonight, though I admit I didn't think of signing in to look at posts till I saw yours

sorry for late reply just got home and thanks for all the interesting answers that's a good idea Billy after I had signed in and got a response I wondered if I had logged out of AB properly before the glitch every thing is OK now though thanks again Tez
