Mystery Moth!

i have just found a moth that is on the wall outside my house and i dont have a clue what type it is. i dont know if i can post the photo of it on here so if you can help, please give me your email address and i will send the picture to you!! thanks

Thanks for that. I initially thought it wasn't coming through but it ended up in my spam folder.

The good news is that it is a Poplar Hawk Moth

No idea why though.
