Is it fuel injected or carburetted? If it has a carb then the carb may need cleaning. It's possible the jets have some dirt in them. Unfortunately this would mean dismantling the carb. I would of course check all the basics first though, all leads, vacuum pipes are all connected etc. You may even get away by increasing the idle screw to increase idle RPM. This is by far the cheapest and easiest way although it doesn't tell you why/how it dropped in the first place.
