Steve Wright on Radio 2

anyone know the name of the Old Woman, as featured on Steve's show?  Her voice seems very familiar but I don't know if it just reminds me of someone else, or if she is actually well known/famous.  Any help out there Abers?  (maybe Johnnie Walker should use her as the next mystery voice!!)

Her name is a closely guarded secret. You may recognise her voice because she sounds very much like Wendy Richard - Pauline Fowler in 'Eastenders' but it is definitely not her - it's been debated many times on this site.

Thanks Andy.  I only recently got a radio that gets a reception in the tricky area where I live, so I'm new to the joys of Radio 2 in my kitchen.  I actually thought she sounded like the actress who plays Nana Moon on Eastenders. I'll have a search for previous posts. xx
