Well it's Sunday and the sun is still shining here. I have to go back to the proper job tomorrow so it's my last day off to enjoy the weather. Anyone up to anything nice today?

After a bit a false start this morning (woke at 5!!) slunk back into bed and just got up again (10.30!!) to find both kids up,one out playing and one watching the highly inappropriate 'Kevin Bishop Show'!! Good Lord - if this is what happens after an evening at the Rose & Crown, I think I may have to curb my twice yearly nights out!!

Morning All!!

It certainly has been a lovely week!!!

Today, most of the family are coming as it is my son's girlfriend's birthday!!

We got cake and plenty of wine and maybe later we may have a bbq!! I will not do both as I am cooking roast beef with the trimmings, so one of the men will have to cook. I have got some prawns and burgers, just enough for a little snack later on.

Just got back - nice to see you all even if I have to stand on my head to read Legend's post!
It's very hot here and since I get really irritable being out in this heat I shall stay inside in the cool now.
Hope everyone's beach visits, roasts, barbies etc. go well and that those of you with hangovers recover soon!
