dvd burning
3 Answers
I tried to burn a DVD the other day and found that the burner went through the motions and returned a completed successfully message, the DVD was empty.
Cut a long story short, i then tried to burn a CD with the same result. I restored my PC back to a date before I had last burned a CD and now CD burning is ok, but DVD still comes out blank. It is probably about 2 years since I last did DVD burning on this PC.
Any ideas as to what has gone wrong?

the first thing I'd try is another burning prog
http://www.imgburn.com/
if that works
uninstall/reinstall the original one
if not
remove the device from hardware manager
reboot
windows should redetect
install burning software.... see what happens
