Air Conditioners are What are known as added extras when you buy a car.

If it is not part of the MOT then as the previouse posts may have suggested to you then the answer is NO.

Under the European Convention on Human Rights, Section 6, paragraph 4, subclause e) ii} states;

"...the sale and supply of 05 plate Fiat Puntos without the mechanisms and capabilities of supplying a throughput of air to the passenger compartment at other than ambient temperatures shall be in direct contravention of the Act and [punishable upon conviction] by the maximum term allowable in the respective signatory nation, including, but not limited to; penal servitude, hard labour, life imprisonment (with or without parole), and execution (whether private or public).
