For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.If both parts can be phrases rather than one being a single word, as in 'manslaughter' and 'therapist', you can probably create lots by looking for words that begin with 's' which are also words when the 's' is removed. The 's' may then be used as a plural 's', a possessive 's' or a shortening of 'is' or 'has' in the alternative version.
'Sally', meaning 'go forth' is an example, which without the 's' becomes 'ally', meaning 'friend/supporter'. Thus you may have 'Aunt Sally' and 'aunt's ally'.
'Sample/ample' gives 'that sample' and 'that's ample'.
