Where has the post gone about the bloke having a new puppy and wanting to leave it for 10 hours a day. I guess it was a 'troll', but posts are not normally removed?

I don't know of the one you are referring to jules, but on the subject of editing.... I have not noticed that any answers have been edited as they were in the past.
However, there have been perfectly legitimate questions that disappeared completely because some idiot decided to post an inappropriate sexually explicit or downright profane answer. Doesn't make sense to remove the whole question instead of just the stupid answer.

Several posts have been removed recently, if you see one that you would like removed press the 'report this question' button just below the post. For a long time they took no notice, but recently they have been on the ball.
