I've booked 6 flights with this company (almost 2k) and they have just ceased trading. they were agents for Gold Trail, and I paid in full around May time.

I can't get through to Gold Trail this morning (lines busy.. 19th in the queue on their premium rate number!) and ABTA just has a recorded msg saying they will write to all skybargains customers within 6 weeks, but we're due to fly in 3 weeks.

is anyone in the same/similar situation, or does anyone have any ideas please? it's very frustrating!

do you think? I had to phone skybargains about 6 weeks ago to try to change the flights but they said then that they were just agents and that Gold Trail had already had the money. Gold Trail are still trading, so far!

I do have insurance so should be covered anyway.
did you pay by credit card?
Question Author
I did. I'm sure I'll be covered in some shape or form but I just want to know if I still have the flights.
I guess if the airline is still flying then the issue is going to be whether Gold Trail has received their money yet. If they haven't then one assumes they will honour the booking if repaid again, but then you'd be in the loop of claiming the first lot of money back from either the CC company or the insurance policy.

my (gay) friend lives in Los Gigantes. he's actually coming over here next week, can't wait to see him.. with new man! they are making plans but no date yet.. I was hoping to be asked to be a bridesmaid!

he said they can actually get married, not just a civil ceremony. I was surprised.

I stayed at his place last year and it's just lovely. I'd move out there now if it wasn't for the kids.
