Got to go to work this morning my head filled with memories,as i said last night rang my friend who i hadnt heard from in 30+years,couldnt believe some of the nasty chat on here while i was posting that thread,anyway as i go to shower and freshen up my service users, i will be thinking lovely thoughts and not letting anything get to me even though i am shattered, have a good un!!!!!

Morning puddicat. I read your post from last night and it's lovely that you have got back in touch with your friend. You must be feeling on top of the world.
I read some of the other posts too (gave up after a while!) As you say there was a lot of nastiness and it's best ignored. Enjoy your day

I have wondered many times-why do you refer to the residents in your home as "service users"....it sounds like 'pc' gone mad,and de-personalises them. I know there are homes that require ths termonology for 'official' purposes, but I would not want my mum called that........not getting at you-just asking.

Hi pasta i hate it also but its what we have to say when we are referring to them, it used to be clients which i find even worst, i would like to call them housemates but not in a position to make that change, thanks to all for ure positive and kind thoughts, except for everett, because i made a comment on one of his mindless threads numpty!!!!
