my friend is hoping to buy a young african grey she wants to get it from a good and reputable breeder any one know where we can obtain a list of breeders

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.please read up (if you haven't already)on parrots i have one and they are very sociable but demanding pets not to be left for hours etc while at work they will get very distressed and might start pulling all the feathers out.you have to learn a parrot to talk it not natural to them its a mimic they do anyway. (they won't hold a conversation with you) when i tell people i have a parrot the first thing they ask "does it talk", no! mines not one that mimics speech it's a conjure by the way, there's plenty of books in library's or waterstones etc you can look at without buying them,also bear in mind they can live for 50 years
