Depends on if I have a dose of the trots or not, if Iv'e got the runs I try very hard not to sneeze !!!

Yes. Public sneeze is much more ladylike.

At home, it's a lot louder.

And ...

in public, followed by on "ooh, excuse me" and trying to sound surprised, as if your own sneeze caught you by surprise.

at home, usually more along the lines of

"Aaaaaaaachoooooooo aaaaah ****"

There was a boy in my class at school, who wanted everyone to take notice of him. He used to make silly noises and drop his books on the floor and ask the teacher stupid questions ( a bit like this one you are asking now), and fart and then waft the smell over all the class.
He was an annoying litlle bug ger, and he grew up to be a very lonely man.

I think I am rather like Jayne.

In public I try to stifle my sneezes so that they come out like little pip squeaks.

But when I'm at home, the sneezes seem to come from the belly, a real roar, aaaaaachhhhhiiiiisssssstoooooooo!!

There was a great programme on telly a while back, one of these candid camera type of things, where a guy was in public with one of those little spray cans. He'd go up behind people, sneeze loudly, and spray the back of people's heads.

I guess you had to see it.
