I see the Verve are back. They are, in my opinion, awful. I know I'm in the minority though.

Got me thinking - there are a lot of critically acclaimed acts that i wouldn't go into my back garden to see. Including Red Hot Chili Peppers, Hot Chip, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Beach Boys (sorry Wardy), Paul Simon and Elton John.

Who do you consider oiverrated and unworthy of your ears?

Mike Skinner from The Streets is brummie, not cockney.

And Ethel, The Streets first two albums were absolutely raved about by the critics. The first was the bookies' favourite to win the Mercury Prize, the second was critically lauded almost across the board.

The third one was slated though, granted. And rightly so.
Critics opinion is worth jack in my opinion

When have Hot Chip been a critically acclaimed act lol

The streets was basically a brummie bloke off his head "talking " rubbish poetry, ah yes critically acclaimed.

Dizzee rascal has won awards so that proves my point....
I forgot to add Radiohead to my list.
