Eve. Well, according to some scholars, anyway.
Lilith first appears in the Gilgamesh myths of Sumeria (also a big source of the Biblical flood myths) as a demonic entity.
In Genesis 2:22, God creates Eve from Adam's rib. However, in Genesis 1:27, a woman has already been created and according to some scholars, the Talmud, the Book of Enoch, Genesis and an old Jewish folk tale have her as Adam's first wife. She argues that since they were created from the same earth, they are equal. This causes a barney and Lilith says the forbidden name of God and flies off into the air and becomes demonised as a witch. She gets written out, basically.
More conventionally, the second woman mentioned (though she doesn't warrent a name (cos she's female, innit?)) is the wife of Cain. The second woman named is called Adah, wife of Lamech, six generations after Adam.
Never let it be said that the Bible is dismissive of women, eh?

Well, jno, there's a few examples of it that I can think of off the bat.
(Gen 9:22) Noah gets drunk and passes out in his tent. Youngest son Ham 'sees' him and is cursed for his behaviour. Some interpretations have it that Ham actually burgered (may be slight misspelling) his father! Either way, as a result Ham's offspring are cursed as 'servants of servants'. This is the Biblical justification for slavery, by the way, as Ham is claimed to be the first black man.
(Gen.17:15-16) Abram marries and impregnates his half sister. God appears to be cool with this.
(Gen 19) After God has destroyed Sodom, Lot's wife is killed. Lot holes up in a cave and his two daughters get him drunk and make him shag them. Each concieves and bears a son. You will recall why Sodom was destroyed, of course. God again fails to see anything awry here.
So, basically, the rule is 'be into God and you can f___ your close relatives with impunity'.

It is relatively accepted that incestuous relationships and marriages were widespread at least during the Graeco-Roman period of Egyptian history. Numerous papyri and the Roman census declarations attest to many husbands and wives being brother and sister. Consider Cleopatra, or the Ptolemies in general and Oedipus.
Despite the act of incest being unacceptable within the Roman Empire, Roman Emperor Caligula is rumoured to have had open sexual relationships with all three of his sisters.
For those that declare the bible is merely a copy of other ancient traditions and practices, it would probably make sense that incest was generally socially acceptable at the time. If not encouraged.

Genesis clearly records the creation of two different species of man (man possibly a race rather than an individual?). The first was created in Gods image, and the second was created from the dust of the ground. Im not prone to quoting religious text (in fact I find it very tedious when other people do it), but on this occasion its necessary to illustrate my point, so please bear with me - and read and consider this.
Genesis:
1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
2:5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
God had created man in his image, and on the seventh day he had rested, but it seems that, as an afterthought, the original race of man needed a servant - and Adam was created to be that servant.

This doesnt address the second woman issue, but it does explain procreation without incest. It also explains how Cain managed to find a wife, since rather than there being only three people on earth at that time, there were very clearly many more.
4:14 Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me.
4:15 And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.
4:16 And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.
4:17 And Cain knew his wife
I think the bible is a history, and as such, if we can ignore the religious slant that its been endowed with, theres a lot to be learnt from it.

http://www.lilithgallery.com/library/The_Legen d_of_Lilith.html weird that I noticed this within a few seconds of seeing this q.
I was given to understand that she was a sister to Cain and Able. But because at that time human had not accumulated much evil through the sins of fathers being passed down so incest was fine at that time.
So Cain, was sinless enough to comit incest with his sister and produce children. Quite remarkable considering he had killed his brother Able.
Sounds like an excellent basis for a system to live by.
