For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.A typical pub Moscow Mule might just be ginger ale and vodka but a 'proper' Moscow Mule should be ginger beer (which, if it's a good brand, is far more 'gingery' than say Schweppe's Ginger Ale), vodka, lime juice (to bring out the sweetness) and angostura bitters (to accentuate the sharpness). Delicious!

Yup - sounds great pasta - you go out and buy some first, and then let me know!!! i don't care for Dr. Pepper though.
Sorry knobby - I thought it was vodka with some type of lime or lemon in it. I can't stand vodka and lime. Hmm..think I'll try some tomorrow. it can go on the shopping list!

'Yes & no' with the lime juice. Most cocktail recipe books would include it. Your average guy behind the bar might not.

For the record, I don't particularly fancy a Moscow Mule just at the moment 'cos it wouldn't mix too well with these cans of Newcastle Brown ;-)
