I find that for a lot of people, owning an ipod is more a fashion statement than an actual desire to have all their music in one place! I have a new model (not mini) one and its great cos its compact and has excellent sound quality etc etc but u should definately investigate other types of mp3 player out there....ipods wll get cheaper and cheaper and possibly less cool as more people get them. Lets just say i would have stuck with my discman if i hadnt got an ipod for less than half its usual price...
