Buencho. Please can you tell me, do I have to remove IE before downloading Firefox, or do they run alongside one another?
I had the same McAfee alert message as trastevere, and since then I have been getting random screen freezes on many websites.
Thanks for any advice.

Just to back up obNOXious:
There's no conflict at all between Firefox and IE.
Because of the weird way AB's search facility works ( - it will only search the section you're currently viewing, rather than the whole site - ) I frequently open IE specifically to do searches on AB. I do so while I've got loads of tabs already open in Firefox. Both programs run happily side by side. (The only thing which stands out on such occasions is that AB takes 2 or 3 times longer to load in IE than it does in Firefox. Well, it used to. Now that I've got AdBlock Plus with Firefox, the speed difference is of the order of 5 or 6 times).
