ice.maiden - i work at ambulance control answering 999 calls - its just quiet tonight - and they block all the good parts of the net off - so bordem levels get high very quick!

I have a friend who works at a certain London hospital. He's a "computer technician" and scarcely has any work to do at all. He just has to be there, in case things go wrong, which is rare. To stop himself dying of boredom, he offers to take messages round to various departments. He says the walk does him good, but he's still bored. For that, he's on �30 grand a year, but he wouldn't be able to get that sort of money back up here, so he stays put. He pays �320 a month for a room in nurses' accommodation - that includes heating, etc., so in actual fact, he may be bored, but he saves money like hell.

wow sounds like a pretty good setup ya m8 in london has there! im still with my parents so i save quite abit myself - lol :P thats not to say i dont appreciate my parents cuz i do! their the best!
