can i be refused a csection???
hi, ive got another appointment at the hospital in a week (will be 34wks) to talk about the delivery of my baby again, i have asked for a planned csection as my first labour was a nightmare and ended in an emergency csection. i am now terrifed of trying naturally again but i feel as if im being pushed into trying for a natural birth even after saying that i dont want to a number of times. can they refuse me a c section even after having an emergency one before??

this time i wanted to be in control and not have the risk of it happening again but they seem so against it.

well it sounds as if it was likely to be just that pregnancy (as opposed to small pelvis or other complications) so i can see why they may try and persuade you to deliver naturally, you know what reovery is like for c-sects too.
But if you are really that scared of natural labour then stand your ground. Try and speak to a different consultant and see if anyone else would back you up on your choice.
Im not sure if itd work but the stress you are under worrying about delivery cannot be any help at all in last weeks of pregnancy.
good luck
